On the 27th of September 2024, the second part of Dis-placed will take place on the lower levels of the Konschthal, featuring works by Taysir Batniji, Marco A. Castillo, Vajiko Chachkhiani, Haus-Rucker-Co, Sebastián Díaz Morales, Marlene Dumas, Guillaume Delaperriere, Omer Fast, Tirdad Hashemi & Soufia Erfanian, Samira Hodaei, Candida Höfer, Hiwa K, Lisa Kohl, Gregor Schneider and The Blaze.

Hailing from Germany, Argentina, South Africa, Cuba, France, Georgia, Israel, Iraq, Iran, Palestine and Luxembourg, these artists deal with the concept of ‘home' and its loss through autobiographical stories or personal accounts gathered from unhoused people. Somewhere between lived experience and interpretation, these images explore themes of abandonment, fleeing, persecution, exile, encounters, as well as memory and what comes after.
