The exhibition ENDROITS | AILLEURS brings together the works of artists Lisa Kohl and Baptiste Rabichon, both of whom question the transformation processes of spaces and perceptions. Their works deal with the transition between real and imaginary worlds and the constant shifting of meanings, made tangible through photography and other visual practices. They create poetic, often fragmented visual worlds that encourage the viewer to engage in a new reflection on space, time, and memory.
Kohl and Rabichon play with the concept of "non-places" and transitional zones – from social spaces without clear identity to personal, intimate moments of memory. In their works, both artists question the boundaries between the visible and the invisible by experimenting with optical illusions, historical techniques, and minimalist interventions. Their works emerge at the intersection of documentation and staging, where the ambiguity of the images demands a deeper engagement.
This exhibition opens a space for reflection on the fluid transitions in human experience and the role of photography as a medium that both uncovers fixed truths and allows for play with perception. Kohl and Rabichon invite the viewer to question the boundaries of the visible and to explore the often invisible transitions between reality and imagination.
